TREx is a mobile X-band dual-polarization radar loaned to the NASA GPM mission by the
Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM)
for use in validation studies at the NASA
Wallops Precipitation Research Facility

TREx will also be deployed to Korea to participate in the International
Collaborative Experiments for Pyeongchang Olympic and Paralympic 2018 (ICE-POP 2018)
field campaign in support of the 2018 Winter Olympics.
