NASA Disdrometers

NASA will be providing support for field operations of several disdrometers (Parsivel, Joss-Waldvogel, and Two-D Video), rain gauges (tipping bucket) and its newly refurbished polarimetric (NPOL).

Latest APU Daily Inventory Status

The image to the left shows the current APU inventory, color coded by the number of hourly files available for a given day.

Gray: No files available
Red: 0-7 hourly files available
Yellow: 8-15 hourly files available
Green: More than 15 hourly files available

Near-Real-Time Data

Use these pull-down menus to see multi-panel plots showing rain rates, accumulatons, reflectivity, liquid water content, concentration and total number of drops by day.
